Therapist Overview
Depression and anxiety can be very difficult to manage on a day to day basis. If you have been feeling sad, tired, no motivation, or having thoughts of suicide, you are probably experiencing depression. Are you tired of being in a state of uneasiness, apprehension resulting from fear of future uncertainties (realistic or fantasized) then you are probably experiencing anxiety. You can have relief from depression and anxiety through ongoing support and skills development experienced in counseling. I have a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with emphasis on psychiatric rehabilitation. My experience encompasses treatment using CBT and DBT models for therapy. I believe the treatment process is a collaborative effort between client and therapist. Developing healthy rapport is key to the process and the best possible outcomes.
