Therapist Overview
Life can be a challenge at times; some days are stressful, relationships can be complicated, emotions may be difficult to manage, pressures at school or work can feel too high, and the demands of parenting can be overwhelming. Therapy can be a great tool to help you or a loved one move toward the life you envision. Whether your goal is to work toward gaining inner peace, increasing your daily life satisfaction, thriving after trauma, find healing after loss, improve relationships, gain skills to be successful, or all of the above – I want to help you feel supported and validated as we take the journey together. Much of my therapeutic technique is a combination of utilizing the natural resources and strengths of the client and family, in addition to Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapy. I also have training in a trauma-based therapy, Progressive Counting. These and other interventions can help clients achieve the success they desire. I enjoy working with individuals ages 5+ who are interested in creating positive and lasting change in their lives. Let’s work together to accomplish the goals you have in mind, develop and enhance the skills you need to be resilient, and achieve the life you want to start living. Note that I only have evening and weekend availability.
