With everything going on in our lives, and the world right now, it’s even more important to develop coping skills and have an appropriate outlet to process experiences and “empty out” our heads, sort through the jumble of thoughts, and make sense of it all. We tend to view our troubling thoughts as embarrassing and scary, and talking through them makes them much more manageable. During the very first session, we will use the strengths you or your child already have to help feel more in control. I’ll help you sort through those feelings, and together we will build resilience factors and coping skills in order to start feeling more confident.
