Therapist Overview

Many of my clients grew up in homes where family didn’t take good enough care of them. Oftentimes, they felt overlooked and alone. They didn’t feel safe enough to be themselves. They learned to pay close attention to others’ moods and proceed accordingly. They had to grow up fast and learned to be independent early on. Nowadays, many of my clients struggle in their relationships. They commonly struggle with trusting others, take on either an aloof or needy stance in relationships, struggle with communication and conflict, and/or have difficulty understanding and dealing with their own and others’ feelings, wants, and needs. What I’m most passionate about and look forward to helping you with is untangling any former and present relationships experiences and bettering yourself, your relationships, and the quality of your life in the process. By the end of therapy, you’ll feel more secure with yourself, connected to your partner, and learn to more fully live, love, and be love
