Marisa V. Byles

As a licensed psychologist, I take great pride in my work with clients. I utilize an individual approach, being mindful of each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. I use evidenced-based treatments and interventions in order to help my clients successfully manage and improve psychological distress. I primarily use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which are effective at treating a wide variety of mental health concerns. I work with individuals throughout the lifespan, from pre-adolescence to older adults. My specialties include eating disorders and body image concerns, anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, relationships and interpersonal problems, and adjustment disorders. Throughout my clinical experiences, I have worked in outpatient and residential settings, including community mental health, college counseling, and an eating disorder treatment center.
