The profound pain humans are capable of feeling can be too much to bear alone, in our work together you don’t have to. I see individuals and couples with a variety of concerns. Some come to see me for relief from chronic worry or stress. Others want to reconnect to one’s self or to feel more alive, authentic, and connected in their relationships. I am committed to exploring how you came to understand what troubles you and strive to learn what’s most important to you about those difficulties. I find that when people feel truly understood in their pain and they learn to understand themselves, relief and emotional growth follows. I have training in attachment, mindfulness, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and somatic approaches to trauma recovery. I have experience treating depressive and anxiety disorders, PTSD, low self-esteem, academic stress, gender and sexuality identity development, relationship difficulties, grief, and loss. I see adults across the lifespan and couples. An attuned, respectful, and empathic therapeutic relationship can be inherently healing and critical for long lasting, meaningful change. Together, we can work collaboratively to learn what troubles you and help you reconnect with your innate capacity for growth and healing.
