It’s natural to need help at times, and joining with another person in a therapeutic alliance can be just what you need to get refocused, find more balance, and live life more joyfully. My intention in psychotherapy is to help guide individuals to a clearer understanding of their mental and emotional terrain and how their thoughts and feelings may influence their overall sense of well-being. My work is interactive, and is supported by the combined practice of yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and traditional talk therapy approaches. As an integrative therapist, I draw from varied psychotherapy orientations incorporating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and yoga philosophy, and postures when appropriate, for experiential work to help people gain more self awareness and insight. I work primarily with adults seeking to shed old life patterns. I invite those who seek change, and understanding on how to bring mindfulness perspectives more deeply into their life.
