Therapist Overview
At some point or another, each of us comes up against sticking points, loss of direction, or painful experiences. It is not always the case that “time heals all wounds.” Unresolved issues can impact us over our lifetime. Therapy is one tool to help you unlock your authenticity, resilience, and drive. I am honored to walk beside each individual to develop clear goals and begin to recover focus and meaning. Whether you are seeking help with anxiety, trauma, mood, or relationships and intimacy, together we will work to hone and utilize your unique strengths for healing. I work with teens and adults using evidenced-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I have a particular focus in partnering with those with anxiety, survivors of trauma, and those on the autism spectrum. I welcome all who identify as LGBTQ+. I believe there is an undamaged, powerful self within each of us. I am committed to providing compassionate services to my clientele. I sincerely look forward to working with you towards a more meaningful life. – Laura (she/her)
