I enjoy helping those that feel they are stuck in how they think and process the world by assisting them in learning coping skills to change the thought patterns that keep them cycling through all the negativity. I am someone that will listen, never judge, and give you an outside perspective on what is causing you distress. I desire to work with people who want to change their mindset and are willing to try new things while understanding that healing takes time. I primarily use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and Motivational interviewing in my treatment. The primary purpose of CBT treatment is that success in therapy results from identifying and changing negative thoughts and/or beliefs that could be resulting in negative behaviors.
