Therapist Overview

I specialize on active and retired first responders (police, fire fighters, EMS, paramedics), ER staff, correctional officers, other law enforcement, active duty and combat vets. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed independent substance abuse counselor (LISAC), national certified counselor (NCC), clinically certified forensic counselor (NFC), trauma and anger therapist. My theoretical approach could be called person-centered cognitive behavioral therapy, I also use cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure and forward facing trauma therapy (for PTSD), elements of Gestalt, and solution focused therapy. Beyond all that is my deep and relentless passion and determination to help you improve your life. I am a German native, TPD volunteer, and own Karoline’s Bells for officers (a small non-profit law enforcement appreciation project). The shortest distance to yourself has no room for avoidance. Let’s do this!
