Therapist Overview
Making the decision to see a therapist is hard but if you are reading this, you’ve already taken the first step towards wellness and a better you. Celebrate small victories – they lead to bigger ones! Maybe you have a specific challenge you’d like to work through. Maybe you just need to talk. Maybe you don’t even know what is motivating your behaviors and beliefs but you know you are ready for a change. Whatever your “it” is, I would love to assist you in exploring, learning, and growing. I meet clients where they are and encourage them to face their fears, achieve goals and take steps towards the life they’ve always wanted. My goal is to help clients move from a space of operating to survive to living to thrive. I encourage my clients to get to the root of why they think what they think and how those thoughts influence behavior and perception. This is done by providing a safe space, and using applied theories from an expansive knowledge base as well as genuine care. In addition to adults, I see children ages 5-17 years old who may be struggling emotionally or behaviorally. My goal with children is to empower them to be open with their thoughts and feelings, and to minimize problematic behavior. I also provide parent-child interaction therapy using the foundations of conscious parenting.
