Making the decision to begin therapy may be a scary and difficult one, but making the choice to heal is one of the bravest things a person can do. It is my belief that healing is always a possibility and with the combination your willingness and my experience we will navigate the process of increasing your sense of well-being, health, happiness, or whatever it is you seek to improve. Together we will work towards your goals in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment, with the potential of experiencing relief, joy and light-heartedness amidst the serious work and emotions that therapy often entails. The individuals I generally see are those who have experienced a traumatic or negative life event and have symptoms such as PTSD, depression, substance use, anxiety, irritability or low self-esteem, to name a few. I am trained in EMDR which is my primary treatment modality, in addition to various mindfulness based approaches to address the whole person.
