Joseph Eugene Saxe

Because of a broad range of training and experience, I work with the entire lifespan of people, from high schoolers to retired persons in individual and family contexts. I focus on assisting with life transitions, resolving interpersonal conflicts, improving family and social relationships, and also individual emotional and self-regulation issues. I work with people in a collaborative, positive, non-blaming way, using a variety of approaches including cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies. As a retired school psychologist, I am also familiar with how challenges such as ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities can impact adjustment My training includes clinical psychology and marriage and family therapy, as well as school psychology. This background has given me individual counseling experience, along with a broad perspective and how people and systems interact, both in small systems, such as families, and larger systems, such as schools and work
