Therapist Overview
It can be difficult and uncomfortable to talk to someone we barely know about our thoughts and feelings, especially if they are upsetting to us. At some point in our lives, we will need someone to walk with us for awhile. Therapy is about me walking with you. I consider this a privilege and love helping people see how valuable they are, no matter what they have gone through. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative, and a Psychodynamic approach to work with teens and adults experiencing low self-esteem, grief, anxiety, depression, codependency, major life transitions, self-harm, and leadership and spirituality issues. Since 2000 I have worked with adolescents, young adults, and families within a church ministry or school setting. My focus as a therapist is to serve clients by offering a trusting and judgment-free connection through all of the ups and downs that life includes.
