However, self-awareness and self-acceptance may take a long time to achieve. In order for therapy to be successful, it is important for the client to take an active role in his/her sessions. Generally, the more one is willing to invest, the greater the return. My number one priority is to facilitate healing and growth with those who desire more self-awareness, acceptance and joy in life – and are committed to do the work. The issues I work with are as varied as the people I see: communication & intimacy between couples; self-acceptance and compassion for those who struggle with self-confidence & self-esteem; loss & grief, which effect us all and often without our conscious awareness – increasing anxiety and depression.
