Therapist Overview
We all struggle to navigate challenges in our daily lives from time to time. Sometimes, life simply does not look or feel the way we’d like it to. I work with adolescents and adults to gain a better understanding of themselves and what may be contributing to their struggles. I believe in partnering with my clients to develop healthy and practical ways to improve their situation. I specialize in treatment of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, disordered eating, and related mood disorders. As an experienced school social worker, I am also well-versed in the Special Education process and management of IEP and 504 plans. I tailor treatment to best meet each client’s individual needs and goals in a supportive, collaborative environment. My therapeutic approach is values-driven and solution-focused, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We all require help from others at some point during our journey towards personal growth. Beginning therapy can be an exciting, yet scary decision. It takes strength and courage to seek support, and I am here to help make your healing process a bit easier! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to make an appointment!
