Therapist Overview
Family practice, child and adolescent therapy have been my concentration. I haven’t meant an ideal client as yet. Their are some who may be outside my expertise and for them I strive for appropriate referrals. I have worked with couples, children suffering from trauma, ADHD, Depression, Generalized Anxiety, and most forms od Oppositional behavior. Having an understanding that emotional and behavioral issues can present barriers to learning. As ppart of treating the whole person a diagnostic evaluation is conducted but an assessment of academic performance is considered in the process. I do not believe it is unique, the inclusion of all parties involved in the clients’ environment. It is a very simple process, assess the client, incorporate the support network and develop a treatment plan incorporating their support. This can be done through regular family sessions.
