Therapist Overview
My approach to therapy is to build a strong trusting relationship with each person that enters my office, allowing for us to dive into the journey of self-exploration and discovery. I believe in working to gain greater insight into the feelings you have and making powerful connections along the way. Life is tough and I am here to help hold those stresses and see the hope while we work through the challenges that you may be experiencing. I believe that having context into how our brains work is a key to lasting change. I will follow along with you on your journey to making the connections, and creating the lasting changes desired. I graduated from Wayne State University with my Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work. After graduation, I completed a year-long Fellowship at Yale University. Additionally, I have earned a level III endorsement through the Michigan Association of Infant Mental Health. I have worked with children, adults and families in home, office and school settings. My areas of therapeutic focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting concerns, attachment and relationship challenges between parents and children. I specialize in pregnancy, postpartum, and childhood behavior, school and emotional difficulties.
