This pandemic has pushed the limits on normal life in so many ways and if you feel overwhelmed by it all, you are not alone. Maybe the existing cracks in your “normal” world are now blown so wide open you cannot see the other side? Through my work in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings I have witnessed first-hand how damaging stress, anxiety, depression, insecurities, loneliness, and low self-esteem can be. Often maladaptive coping skills are causing more harm than good, and new ways need to learned. Clients hold the expertise regarding their lives and they know what is helpful and what they are willing to try. I have been working in different areas of mental health for over 15 years. I have successfully assisted people during life transitions and chaotic times to develop new coping skills.
