Therapist Overview
Do you want to feel more connected to others? How about to yourself? Are things from your past getting in the way? Therapy allows for the time and space to focus on you. I believe all of us are capable of change, and therapy is one way to begin that change process. I work from an empowerment approach – in other words, I know that you are the expert about who you are, where you’re from, and where you’re going. My role is to provide feedback, guidance, and a safe environment to process that journey. My expertise is in working on issues such as improving relationships, coping with anxiety and/or depression, life transitions (particularly pregnancy and early parenthood), and healing from trauma. I draw from a variety of tools during sessions, and my approach is always tailored to the individual. The first step in therapy is finding someone you can connect with and who is the right fit. I look forward to learning about you and your goals and working together to meet them.
