The decision to come for counseling is sometimes a difficult one, yet an important step towards change. It will be an honor for me to walk with you through this therapeutic JOURNEY that we try to keep PURE of judgments and labeling. I am a nationally board certified counselor. I work with people who experience grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, decreased motivation, parenting difficulties, and relationship problems. I am trained in EMDR. I also apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in treatment sessions. I provide culturally competent treatment for people with cultural adjustment issues. I am a bilingual counselor and my service is available to both English and Farsi speaking population.
