Therapist Overview
Therapy can be an excellent tool to help calm the chaos, and take stock of what is truly important in our lives, and allow ourselves the time to focus on changing our mindset, relational patterns, or life trajectory. It is my desire to help those who are hurting to make significant changes for themselves to better their mood, self-esteem and their relationships with others, both adults and children. Oftentimes life can become too overwhelming and stressful, and we may need some time and assistance to assess our situation, and find new ways to calm and cope. The most important tool I use in psychotherapy is genuine individual connection. The therapuetic strategies used truly depend on the individual & what they bring to therapy- their issues, their motivation to change, & their desire to work. I often use sand tray and play therapy with my kid clients, and some adults, and work to address any client concerns. It is so important to find the right fit with a therapist, and comfort is an integral aspect to therapy. Helping people through difficult emotional pain and transitions is a special privilege, and I work hard to honor that through empathic listening, genuine connection & ethical treatment. Please feel free to call me for a free phone consult.
