Therapist Overview
I have had the privilege of working with clients for over 30 years. Educated and trained in Florida I moved to Hampton Roads to work in residential care. This gave me the opportunity to work with adolescents and families and develop additional skills in the area of substance abuse and treatment of mood, anxiety, grief, trauma, and Cognitive Disorders. Eight years ago I opened an office in Churchland; I had been in VB for almost 20 years. In July, 2013 I relocated to Northern Suffolk. The practice is a small one where confidentiality and privacy are fostered. At this time I am working with adults, providing individual therapy. I have had wonderful mentors who paved the way for me to develop advanced skills in assessment and treatment. Client care is always the top priority. Parents, spouses and other family members are part of the solution and they too can benefit from treatment. While in treatment I collaborate with your other providers such as PCPs, Psychiatrists, and other specialist
