I am licensed both as a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I also have extensive experience working with domestic violence and other women’s issues. Following 15 years of experience working with both men and women and addiction I understand the interaction of substance use disorder and mental health, anxiety, depression, life concerns and self understanding. This is a family disease and I am able to help family members gain understanding and tools for responding to the impact on their family. I have significant experience facilitating interventions for families. This is a 4 session process including education and coaching for the family and friends during the first 3 sessions, and then providing the fourth session as the intervention with the identified client.
