Therapist Overview
Feeling anxious? Sad? Overwhelmed? I work with adults (18+) who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, adjusting to life transitions, prenatal/postpartum mood concerns, loss, family/relationship challenges, and low self-esteem. I also work with individuals who identify with being a perfectionist, people-pleaser, or highly sensitive person. Whatever struggle you’re facing, I am committed to providing you with a safe, nurturing space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain support and insight, and learn skills to help you heal, grow, and feel your best. In my 15+ years as a therapist, I have supported many clients as they moved through difficult life circumstances or coped with ongoing concerns. My therapeutic approach is strength-based, supportive, insight-oriented, and cognitive behavioral. It takes courage and strength to acknowledge that the status quo isn’t working and to reach out for support. I know that the process of finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, but you are taking the first step toward making positive changes in your life and that is one of the hardest parts. I look forward to hearing from you whenever you’re ready!
