Therapist Overview
A common theme I see with clients is an unmet desire and need to be seen and heard for who they are in totality across different intersectionalties of their identity. I have a passion and calling to work with members of the LGBTQI+ community, people of color, and those experiencing different forms of oppression. I am motivated and strive to create a space for individuals who experience challenges and barriers around defining and integrating one’s identity that may differ from historical, societal, and familial beliefs. I specialize in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, career transitions, self-esteem, stress, burn out, substance abuse and addiction, intimacy in relationships, sexuality, gender identity, grief/loss, and trauma. I also work with couples to create and strengthen a deeper sense of openness and intimacy in their relationship, recognizing repeating cycles, and cultivating new ways to co-create patterns and behaviors that lead to resolution. My goal is to authentically meet you where you are on your journey. Together we will work on creating and developing a safe space for you to explore and define your goals and create a plan that best suits your needs.
