Therapist Overview
I truly believe that everyone coming into therapy is deserving of respect and compassion. I work hard to understand and create a space for growth and vulnerability with everyone I work with. Intense experiences of anxiety, shame, and trauma can block expressions of pride and love towards ourselves and others. I work to dismantle these patterns that impact us in negative ways and create space for healing. My passion is working with LGBTQ+ community to make sure our pride and resiliency can flourish. I work with individuals, couples, families, and children. I am a marriage and family therapist and my approach to therapy leans on experiential processing in the room. Identifying the emotions, thoughts, and underlying beliefs about ourselves that come up through the therapeutic process and create alternative ways of healing and engaging with the world. I am the program manager for the Pride Program at Integrated Therapy Services. The program is focused on mental health care for members of the queer community. I work hard to build a space of safety and acceptance for everyone I work with. If you feel like this would be a good fit for you please feel free to reach out with any questions.
