Therapist Overview
Relationships can be life-giving, deeply satisfying, and a source of joy. They can also be hard. Feelings of loneliness, disappointment, regret, and anger may plague us in the midst of being with our spouse, friends, and family. Sometimes hope seems hard to hold on to. I get it. It would be my honor to hear your story and help restore hope to your life. Through our collaborative process of therapy, you will have opportunities to connect with yourself and others in ways you never thought possible. You will come to a deeper understanding of the why’s underneath the patterns that keep you stuck and what to do about it. It is my joy and privilege to counsel women, men, couples, and families using an attachment based / emotion focused model of therapy. I am trained in emotion focused therapy (EFT) and emotion focused family therapy (EFFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and am a parent trainer in the Trust Based Parenting Model by Karen Purvis, PhD. I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in December 2018 and am now part of Red Therapy Group under the supervision of Kelly Bourque, LMFT while I work to fulfill the requirements for licensure. Currently I am a pre-licensed professional. I am married to Gene Hannah and we have three adult children, one adolescent, and one grandchild.
