Therapist Overview
I am a licensed counselor that works with individuals, couples and/or families. My therapeutic approach is strength based, and starts with creating a safe and comfortable space. I specialize in addressing anxiety and depression, managing stress, working to address unresolved trauma, relationship conflict and increasing self esteem. I work to empower clients and family members to meet their goals in order to be successful in all aspects of their lives. Additionally, when working with children I work with the child individually and also invite parents/guardians into session to learn skills to utilize at home to support the child. I use evidenced based treatments in my practice including cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy skills. I am trained in motivational interviewing, trauma informed modalities, mindfulness techniques, and family systems theory. I also incorporate my passion for yoga, fitness and mindfulness into my practice. During these difficult times of social distancing I offer teletherapy to clients. I also offer evening and weekend appointments to be as flexible as possible. Reaching out for support can be difficult, but I encourage you to contact me with any questions or to make an appointment. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential.
