Therapist Overview
We love childhood & honor parenthood! My associates & I are passionate about treating children & adolescents between the ages of 4-18. Clients overcome a variety of childhood challenges including trauma, grief & loss, anxiety, depression, anger & meltdowns, parent-child conflict, separation/divorce, academic challenges, & bullying, etc. We specialize in therapy for neuro-diverse children across diagnoses such as High Functioning Autism, ADHD, & learning differences. Individual therapy works well for a range of issues and our Art of Friendship Social-Coping Program & Camp Pegasus are renowned for social skills therapy. CFATC offers developmentally appropriate art, play, & verbal individual therapy w/parent support & training. For 4-12 year-olds parents participate in the first 15 minutes of each session, learning coping skills w/your child. Even though parents rarely join in sessions w/ 13-18 year-old clients, we actively work with you to develop supports at home & school. The Art of Friendship Social-Coping Program offers Mike Fogel’s original social/coping skills curriculum, a fun reward system, compassionate social coaching, & an emphasis on self-regulation. We are extremely thoughtful about group placements, making sure that your child is placed with peers with whom s/he can successfully learn & practice vital skills.
