Therapist Overview

It is normal to feel that something is missing, incomplete, or “not quite right” in our lives. This may be the result of adverse life events, trauma, relationship difficulties, or any number of precipitating factors. The bottom line: It takes a lot of courage to reach out for support and guidance. I take this courage very seriously, and am committed to working with you to develop a personalized therapeutic relationship and treatment plan that will help you live a meaningful, fulfilling life. If you are interested in learning new, more effective ways of meeting life’s challenges, let’s talk. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and approach therapy from a person-centered, relational perspective. Additionally, I have specialized training and experience in trauma therapy (Cognitive Processing Therapy, prolonged exposure therapy), as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy among other empirically-validated treatment modalities.
