Therapist Overview

Life can throw us curve-balls! Sometimes we find ourselves in a painful or difficult time in our lives. Events such as abuse, divorce, violence, loss, transition etc. can be overwhelming and traumatizing. We may become aware of patterns in our relationships that get in the way of healthy connections or we realize that we are still carrying the weight of childhood and family trauma & it is impacting the quality of our lives. We may need support during times of depression or anxiety. Perhaps there is no specific problem & we simply want to engage in personal exploration to gain deeper self-understanding to live life more meaningfully. I am committed to assisting my clients in letting go of past trauma, developing a strong sense of self worth, self identity & inner confidence. Using pycho-education, skill building, & therapies such as, EMDR, Inner-Child Work, Imagery and expressive art therapies, I invite my clients to integrate body mind and spirit on their journey toward wholeness.
