Therapist Overview

Has life attempted to convince you that you are not enough? Do you feel pressured to fulfill everyone else’s expectations for your life? Is it difficult to believe in your abilities from day to day? Have you found yourself conforming to societal expectations you do not agree with and wonder if the story will ever change? If you are feeling hopeless, exhausted or as if you are the only person living this reality and isolated from the rest of the world, I would like to help. Imagine being able to rewrite your story. Imagine finding a space where your story can begin to take shape. I listen as my clients identify their preferred story and work collaboratively help them to locate strengths and skills that allow for a different tomorrow. I want to provide the support and tools needed to begin to shift perspectives. I am committed to holding a safe space of cultural awareness. I am LGBTQ and multi-cultural affirming influenced by the intersectionality of culture, spirituality and psychotherapy. I currently serve as a lecturer of Counseling and Guidance at the university level.
