Therapist Overview
I help children, adolescents and adults become more independent and achieve their goals. I help patients break tasks down into steps, allowing them to complete them in a way that makes sense to them, is not overwhelming, and then eventually let them see they can (and usually do!) reach their end goal(s). I am a behaviorist with a heart. Simply put, while I am linear, firm, and direct in my therapy goals, my approach is gentle and authentic. If you aren’t comfortable and feeling safe, something isn’t right and we will fix that or find you someone else who can help you reach your goals and feel comfortable. I’m a behavior specialist. I provide psychological assessments and ABA therapy to kids, adolescents, and adults experiencing technology-based problems (e.g., Internet addiction, etc.), meltdowns, and those diagnosed on the Autism spectrum (e.g., Asperger’s) and that have other developmental delays, among other social, behavioral, and/or emotional concerns.
