Therapist Overview
Love, acceptance and belonging are natural human desires. Sometimes our life’s experiences create survival mechanisms to help cope with difficult situations resulting in a cycle of shame and pain, but the need for love and connection does not go away. I work with clients to discover the doorway into the pain and shame in order to create healing. My approach to psychotherapy is based on a strong belief that a therapist is genuine, warm, empathetic and provide treatments that are backed by research. I use a collaborative approach and believe that every human being has the capacity to grow and heal. As a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee, I create a safe space for children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families to work through a variety of personal and relational challenges.
