Therapist Overview

I am a pediatric neuropsychologist specializing in the evaluation of children whose medical or neurological conditions may impact brain development (e.g., head injury/concussion, prematurity, epilepsy, stroke, chromosomal differences, spina bifida, brain tumors, etc.). I also evaluate children with academic and social/emotional difficulties with questions of ADHD, learning disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or intellectual disability. My comprehensive evaluation includes assessment of cognition (e.g., learning, memory, attention, executive functions, etc.) and emotional/behavioral functioning to identify a child’s strengths and needs and to guide academic and treatment planning. In addition to assessment, I also provide therapy services. Neuropsychology is a specialty within clinical psychology focusing on brain-behavior relationships that requires advanced knowledge and experience through a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship.
