Partners of sex addicts may experience feelings of intense anger, shock, drops in sexual interest, or notice that past trauma keeps coming back and impacting them. I am a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT) which is a formal process completed through the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP) that trains clinicians in working specifically with betrayed partners.
