Therapist Overview
All appointments at this time are virtual. My mission as a therapist is to empower individuals and families in developing the courage and ability to express and live their values in a way that promotes connection, growth, and balance. The clients I work with are female teens and young women who experience anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem that make it difficult to connect with others, feel able and motivated to do daily activities, and even make the decisions that lead to better consequences. Often these challenges impact relationships with family members and may cause them to be strained and conflictual. With therapy there is hope to build resilience and find ways to move towards living a happier and more gratifying life. The young women that I work with learn the tools to process and express emotions in a healthy and productive way and learn to use problem-solving and assertive communication to better relationships with their family and peers. A strong therapeutic relationship is key to the therapeutic process. If you’re still uncertain about therapy or whether we’re a good fit, call me for a free consultation. I would like to support you in unearthing the inspiration and skills necessary for you to be yourself in the way that brings you the most sense of fulfillment and dignity.
