Therapist Overview

The decision to engage in the process of seeking help or making change is one that takes courage. It is important that the professional you work with has an appreciation for your story and your context. As a clinical psychologist, I have many years of experience working with adolescents and adults addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and identity development and formation. I welcome the opportunity to work with individuals who identify as ethnic, racial, religious, or sexual minorities. As a sport psychologist, I have worked with athletes at various stages of their athletic careers (early to elite) on performance enhancement, dealing with injuries, and the intersection of mental health and sport participation. I also work with coaches to broaden their understanding of mental skills and their application to sport and enhancing team cohesion.
