Therapist Overview

Life is messy, and it can be tough to see past the struggles that come up in families: from big worries, to big feelings, to life’s many transitions. This is where I can help. Let’s work together to slow down and look at what’s hard for your family, as well as your family’s many strengths. Let’s find ways for you and your child to step out of old patterns, and find even better ways to relate. Let’s work to let go of the “shoulds,” and instead find what will actually help you and your family. Life is messy, and you can find joy and fun within the chaos! I work with children (age 3+), teens and their parents. I specialize in supporting clients through challenges with depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and ADHD. I can help children who have behavioral issues, school difficulties, and relationship difficulties and work with parents on effective and mindful parenting. I strive to bring compassion, empathy, and a sense of humor to my sessions. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, tailored to support you and your family’s individual needs and unique journey. I draw on a variety of approaches and theories, including play therapy, art therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems theory & mindfulness.
