Therapist Overview
I love this work! I have had a 20+ year career as a college professor and, during that time, was driven by my passion for helping others. My strong desire to help in a deeper, more holistic way led me to pursue counseling. Building a strong, trusting, collaborative relationship with clients is of the utmost importance to me. I strive to support and guide clients while working to foster introspection, insight, and personal growth. My hope is to help clients empower themselves to more effectively manage life challenges, to overcome obstacles, and, if needed, to make changes that will allow them to more fully flourish in their lives. I have experience working with clients ages 18 – 75 with concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem and self-worth, personal identity, life purpose and meaning, life transitions, traumatic experiences, relationship issues, and life stressors. I am glad that you visited the Psychology Today website in search of whatever type of support you are needin
