I do home visits! I see all my clients in the their own home, apartment, or where ever they call home such as in Independent and Assisted Living communities. I provide counseling/psychotherapy treatment for clients who are suffering with depression, anxiety, or who are struggling with transitioning to a new life stage. Some of my clients are caretakers of a family member and are experiencing caregiver stress and burnout. I have found in my nearly 30 years of working in the mental health field that the mental health issues associated with growing old are unique. By bringing my service to the clients home, I am able to treat the person in the context of their current living circumstance. I additionally have extensive experience in evaluating the mental status of older adults. I specifically am able to evaluate the Senior’s ability to function in their home.
