I am an accomplished psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. Also I am “certified” in family therapy, having obtained a post-masters degree in that field.. Finally I am certified in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems therapy which I use extensively to treat trauma, phobias,and self-sabotaging behavior and thinking. In addition to operating my own private practice in Pennsylvania until 2015, I was full time faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for 19 years and clinical faculty at the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State Medical schools for 10 years. I have a passionate interest in treating traumatized patients and consider myself an expert in this area.
