Therapist Overview
Due to the stress of the everyday world, emotions can become intense, overwhelming, and at times debilitating. Therapy provides individuals with the support necessary to become your best self. I utilize a genuine, empathic and open-minded approach to treatment. I strive to help clients achieve improved connections, increased insight and a deeper understanding of oneself and others. I provide couples with the skills needed to improve communication, build trust and enhance intimacy. My treatment specialties include: anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, interpersonal trauma, PTSD, early childhood attachment issues, relationship challenges, women’s issues, grief/loss and low self-esteem. With couples, I utilize the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy in conjunction with other research-based methodologies. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hofstra University, and a Masters and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
