Therapist Overview
I provide therapy to individuals and couples seeking assistance for a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use, and life adjustment. My experience includes residential, university counseling, community mental health, and private practice settings. I have specialized training in Brainspotting (phase I and II) as well as mindfulness, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. My approach to therapy is influenced by Internal Family Systems and Focusing–often referred to as “parts work”. I graduated in 2008 with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy emphasis. Prior to becoming a counselor I spent 7 years working in the financial sector as an investment banking administrator and treasury analyst. In my free time I am typically with my family and I love being in nature, especially backpacking. I also enjoy gardening, landscaping, and music/guitar. Feel free to contact me with any questions or consultation.
