Therapist Overview
I believe it is often not our thoughts themselves but the relationship we have with those thoughts that causes much of the distress in our lives. It is my hope to help guide others through their journey to find the courage and acceptance to face and overcome whatever challenges life has brought them. My work in private practice has been with both adults and children. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, relationship/family issues, grief, and trauma. One of my passions is working with developmentally delayed adults. I have facilitated a local Asperger’s support group for the past ten years. I use a client centered approach to counseling, along with cognitive-behavioral theories and methods.
