Therapist Overview

Welcome and thank you for considering me for your therapist. I’ve been a working therapist and HAES practitioner for 10 years who sees individuals, couples, and families. While I especially encourage LGBTQ or Deaf/HH young adults and families to contact me, I provide compassionate and informed support for anyone dealing with issues ranging from grief/loss, identity development, social/emotional stress, interpersonal or familial conflict, academic underachievement, anxiety, bullying, adoption, marital counseling, etc. My work is conducted through an intersectional feminist and anti-racist lens. I am sensitive to issues particular to Queer and Trans (LGBTQIA+) parents/children as well as families with Deaf/HH members and CODAs. I am a member of the Queer community. I use she/her/hers pronouns. I am proficient in American Sign Language. I use humor and creative modalities with clients to engage them in a therapeutic process that is safe, healing, and (often) enjoyable.
