Therapist Overview
My clients are adults experiencing challenges with addiction, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss. I believe deep listening can be an antidote to the impersonality of our increasingly busy world. My therapy style is collaborative and strengths-based, helping people tap into their inner wisdom and resources. I am generally fascinated by people – their stories, challenges, interests, hopes, loves, struggles, and goals. I particularly enjoy helping people discover and change patterns that are no longer useful, uncover neglected parts of themselves, and grow into the successful people they mean to be. I specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders, grief, trauma, and mood disorders in adults 35+. I additionally provide supervision for social workers, professional counselors, and substance use disorder clinicians. In addition to regular business hours, I am often able to schedule early morning and evening appointments upon request.
