Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with clients who are ready to make a positive change in their lives. I have experience working with individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs. I have a passion for working with couples and dedicate part of my practice specifically to couples work. Together, we will address issues regarding healthy communication, conflict resolution, finances, intimacy, and parenting. While my primary focus is couples therapy, I also work with behavioral addiction (pornography, video games, gambling, shopping, etc.) and trauma-related therapy. I am specifically trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET) which is one of the most research-based and internationally supported treatment options for working with trauma. My treatment methodology is not explicitly faith-based, but I am happy to include faith in your counseling process if that is what you are seeking. My Master’s Degree is from Denver Seminary, so I am very comfortable with integrating faith and counseling.
