Therapist Overview
I most appreciate chances to work with clients who are motivated to more openly deal with the painful things of life. Most of us can profit by admitting that we tend to rely on old coping strategies that have worked fairly well. Then as life gets more complicated those don’t always work so dependably and at that time it is wonderful to discover new notions that relieve, explain and joyously provide alternatives to the painful methods we thought were so necessary. That is the time when therapeutic alternatives are exciting and often wonderful. I like being in on growth – mine or yours. Anybody interested? I have found that much dysfunction emerges from compulsively covering up pain and seeking habits that minimize or blame others. This can easily lead to addiction-like behaviors. From that point, the only real answer is honest and open confrontation with the truth. Surrendering to the need for help is why spiritual realities are so effective with addiction. I take great pride in providing a safe place for you to deal with life issues. We all have them and we all can improve on what we were taught. If we face the right issues, with the right vulnerability, we can discover that answers pop out in ways we never believed possible. That makes the project so incredibly enjoyable and rewarding – for me and you.
